Rosette Beaded Necklace in Medicine Wheel Colors

Beautifully hand-crafted Vintage Native American beaded necklace. Vibrantly colored seed beads Peyote stitched together to create this beautiful heirloom Rosette regalia necklace. Approximately 23 inches of quarter inch wide "chain", supporting a two inch diameter, leather backed white and red rosette with yellow accents on a black field and a red border. Finished with approximately 2 inches of beaded fringe at the bottom.

 I traded with a Grandmother from the O'odham nation, this and a Thunderbird Beaded Necklace for one of my ultra-thin bone hair pipe chokers for her granddaughter's birthday present. She said they were made by her Tonto friend around thirty years ago, so I assume she meant this was made by a Tonto Apache woman she knows.
